Charity Shop Finds and New Polymer Clay Makes

I have finally had some time to make some polymer clay charms yay! I feel like I was going a bit stir crazy with not making anything in so long but I have been so busy with moving, As well as making jewellery I also love charity shopping, Which I was super happy to find that Newcastle has a ton of them! So here is some pictures of my latest polymer clay makes and my new purchases from charity shops.

Polymer clay mermaid necklace

Ariel is holding her best friend flounder and has a cute lilac sea flower in her hair.

I have added sprinkles of glitter to her tail to give it a lovely shimmer, the fins are in a lighter more translucence clay to give them more of a see through look, her hair has been twisted and detailed to give it more movement, hand crafted by me from polymer clay.

I adore fairytale's and believe you can never be too old to get captivated in the magic, So when I found out about ABC's new series from the writers of Lost (which I also loved) Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, was going to be based on different fairytale's with a classic and modern twist I kinda knew I was going to enjoy it, And I have been doing, it's the type of series you keep saying to yourself I will just watch one more at stupidly early hours of the morning! Great actors as well my favourites have to be Robert Carlyle and Emilie De Ravin (Claire from Lost), If you ever wanted to find out what happened to your beloved fairytale characters after there happy ending it's a must watch!
Once upon a time series 1 and 2 has already been aired in the USA and series 2 is coming out in the UK in a few weeks. For more info check out there official Facebook pages v

Disney Barbie Designer Dolls

This is one (Ariel) of the 11 Designer Princesses that was made by Barbie, The others included : Cinderella normal and silver edition, The silver edition is super rare, Snow White, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana and Rapunzel. These sold out not surprisingly straight away to get the set now would set you back a couple of thousands on Ebay.
